We have released new feature categories which give our users an option to organize products in an easy and non-time consuming way on the store and consequently help them to sell more.
CATEGORY MANAGEMENT – With a category management dashboard we have enabled users to create and edit categories on their stores, which can be also done within the product editing screen. We also included some steps to prevent deleting categories with products by including a safe check which prevents deleting a category before products are not removed. Users have also an option to get the category page link directly from dashboard, which can be later on used for marketing purposes.
CATEGORY PAGES – Category pages can now be displayed on the frontend of the store that can contain certain products that are included in a particular category. We have also added a sorting option which allows customers to find products easier within a category. When the customer is walking through the categories on the user’s category page, it’s displayed also the name of the category to make sure they are on the right category.
CATEGORY ORGANIZATION – Users can organize any products into categories as well as organize the location of the products on the page so that they can display the most valuable products at the top.
BUGS on IES
Showing all product variants on the frontpage product page
Sometimes with an abundance of product variants, some metadata haven’t been displayed on the product page. We have fixed this up to ensure all product variants are displayed now. Here we added the limit also, the total number of product variants should not exceed 1000 to get them properly displayed on the product page.
We have published and solved inconsistency that was noticed in Google analytics tracking, which allows users to improve their marketing performance and consequently to increase traffic.
Saving category name with an existing name
Nevertheless that a user was not able to save the category with a name which already exists, we’ve solved it by displaying a validation error message that category with that name already exists.
We’ve released the first part of the big dashboard management system – Command Hub, which allows users to see created pages in one place. Consequently it enables users to find things faster and easier.
A WEBSITE COMMAND HUB PAGE – With a command hub page we’ve done a next big step from where which gives a user an overview of how many pages was created in total and also by type of the page, how many redirect pages and how many custom pages have been created.
DASHBOARDS BY TYPE OF THE PAGE – For all four DashNex page types (Lead generation page, Sweepstakes page, Redirect page, Custom page) we’ve developed separate dashboard. By having dashboards created by page types we’ve also added an option to create a new page directly from a particular page dashboard or to build any of the available pages inside of the DashNex Pages. We’ve also made improvements on the redirect pages dashboard, so that users get accurate information about the page they’ve created like the destination URL of the redirected page, useful action buttons as edit, clone, delete and all other information which are valuable to have visible on the dashboard.

We’ve noticed and solved a bug when a user was trying to choose and add a US state when generating legal pages.

We’ve made a few small changes to make DashNex pages more consistent and even more user friendly.

We’ve created a Command Hub page where we will be adding more new functionalities which will help our users to stay organized and have a better overview on already created pages. With the next release we are adding another big thing called Project Organizer which will allow users to organize their pages by projects and it will be especially valuable for those who have large and multi-purpose pages. Our aim is to add an option to our users to have a control on what they’ve already built and at the same time to enable managing projects and pages.
The next big thing will be New Editor inside of the DashNex Pages, which will make it easier while building new pages by drag and drop options and will lead to other new functionalities.
on Instant eCom Store
We haven’t finished with adding all functionalities with the new feature reviews. Users will have an option to display also fresh reviews by enabling customers to submit a review about a product from a particular product page. We also found a way to help our users to have higher quality reviews with importing images on reviews from customers’ side and with balk imports, which will be all managed on reviews dashboard.
As soon as we finish with adding all functionalities to reviews, we will start working on some of the most requested features from our users, so that more of them can start to use IES with various business models.
